Buggiano is a small town with 8,699 inhabitants in the province of Pistoia. This town is in the centre of Valdinievole, a territory between Lucca and Pistoia, hilly in part. It is equidistant – 4 kilometres – from Pescia and Montecatini Terme, and also borders the municipalities of Uzzano, Chiesina Uzzanese, Ponte Buggianese, Massa and Cozzile.
