Paestum is an ancient town of Magna Grecia (Grand Greece), the remains of which form one of the greatest archaeological parks in Europe and has been recognized as a heritage of mankind’s by UNESCO in 1988. The municipality of Capaccio-Paestum is in Campania, a region in the south of Italy, and is about 40 km further south of its province, Salerno.
