It stands on the Ionian Coast and is the largest industrial town in the Region, with chemical and metallurgic industries; tourism is quite an active business, favoured by the presence of a harbour.
One should visit: the Duomo (dating back to the Eleventh century originally, it underwent several restoration works over the years), the Castle (built in the Sixteenth century) with its mighty keeps, and “Le Castella”, a fortress built on an island as protection against Arab sea raids.
Crotone has been supplied with a large sized kiosk, realized on a special design fit for containing trades.
