Milan represents the most important industrial place in the North of Italy. In 1999 Ghisamestieri realized a project for the restoration of the old street-lamps existing in Piazza Duomo in the city centre. During the working stages, after disassembling and listing all the pieces, all the deteriorated elements (pole body, post-top group and lanterns) were reconstructed.
