Brescia is a thriving industrial city nowadays, an expanding centre of technological and philosophical modernity, a world looking forward to the future, from its universities to its civic utilities. But it was also called Brixia in old times. It was a country house languidly laid on its dark, fertile land, built around the square stones of early imperial roads, little by little taking the place of its towered wooden camps and experiencing bit by bit walls, fountains and squares. Ghisamestieri has carried out restoration interventions on the existing lighting elements in the town of Brescia.
