Cesenatico boasts a valuable canal harbour realized in 1500 by a Leonardo da Vinci’s original project.
The new part of the town has been entirely devoted to tourists with hotels, shops, restaurants, gaming halls, bars and pubs.
Cesenatico also has the Navigation Museum, partly made up of the ships berthed along the port and on which a very evocative crib, with life-sized figures, is mounted during the Christmas time.
In Cesenatico there have been installed small cast-iron lamp-posts with lanterns Mod. Globo and some elements of street furniture.
