Alberobello stands on two hilltops, interrupted by a river-bed in old times. On the western hill there is the new town with modern architectural features, while the “trulli” are lined up on the other hilltop at the east, in an urban area divided in two districts called Monti and Aia Piccola. They both are National Monuments and have been recognized as World Human Heritage by U.N.E.S.C.O. since December 1996. The town of Alberobello has been supplied with our lamp-posts PAG/MO, brackets PG/M43 and lanterns Piattello.
