This Design Office was established in 1998 by Alessandro Lucchi and Cristiano Biserni, architects, and both got first class degrees at the Florence School of Architecture.
Today the Design Office Lucchi & Biserni consists of 7 professionals offering their competence concerning architectural planning, management of works, running of building sites, art management, handling of bureaucracy, in order to obtain building licences including also property entry into land registry.
The organization of the office is structured with some departments devoted to designing creativity and others dealing with technical work management.
The office has been cooperating since 2000 without interruption with the Court in Forlì, giving technical advice and real estate estimates concerning lawsuits and property enforcements.
The Studio, specialized in museum preparation, superved a lot of Exhibitions, among which: Francesco Menzocchi, Felice Giani, the National Library of France, Elogio dell’Evidenza (the ‘Praise of Evidence’), Marco Palmezzano, Silvestro Lega.
Among its leading clients there are companies such as Mandarina Duck, Wella Labocos, Procter & Gamble, Martinelli Luce, Cappellini, Poltrona Frau, Gibamshops, Ghisa Mestieri, with whom the Studio has been co-operating without interruption to plan commercial spaces, industrial areas, exhibition stands, fancy goods and design.
The design of a luminaire system for the firm Martinelli Luce from Lucca was selected in 2002 for the ‘Gold Compasses’, an international prize for design.
Together with Jean-Michel Wilmotte, an architect from Paris, this Office realized the preparation plan for the exhibition at the St Dominic’s Museum Complex in Forlì and, at the same time, for Marco Palmezzano’s Exhibition. And besides, together with the mentioned French architect, the competition was won to make the Merenda Palace functional again, as this is the building where the Forlì Art Gallery and Town Library are housed at present.
Some of the latest works worth mentioning are: the restoration of the Marchesi Palace (bishop’s see at present), the restoration of the Chiesa delle Camminate, the renovation of the old Baschieri & Pellagri’s business in Bologna, the room for temporary exhibits in the old Fortress Cistern of Bertinoro, the realization of a 3000 sq.m. shopping centre in the middle of Forlì MegaStore.
National and international architects and designers, such as Michele De Lucchi, Michael Young, Marcel Wanders, J.M. Wilmotte, Angelo Micheli, Prof. Ulisse Tramonti, Stefano Stanghellini and Iginio Rossi, have been co-operating with the Office.
The Studio can rely on an efficient structure supported by networked PC stations, office equipments as fax, printers, photocopiers, scanners, archives, product creation laboratory, realization of moulds.
In 2001 the firm Tredistudio was created with the purpose of dealing with image and communication such as the production of films and three-dimensional rendering representations for architects and designers.
