Mr Claudio Zappone is architect who has been involved in architectural design in Italy and abroad since 1994. He has been teaching environment planning at the Politecnico (School of Engineering) in Milan since 1999 and is the author of a book on passive solar design published by Esselibri in 2005. Mr Giorgio Palermo, also an architect, has been involved in light engineering since 1993 and gained his experience in Milan, Paris and Dubai where he has realised several prestigious lighting design works. Joining one another’s complementary expertise, in 2003 they established the ATA Studio, working with architecture, light engineering plans and industrial design. In addition to several architecture plans and lighting design works they designed, during these years, various luminaires for a lot of Italian and foreign firms, and Hastiludia for Ghisamestieri is one of them.
